Job Title: Production Associate

At Sonoco, we're committed to building a team of talented individuals who share our passion for innovation and excellence. As a Production Associate, you'll play a critical role in our tube and core division, working closely with other departments to ensure the highest quality products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals
  • Identify and troubleshoot problems, making incremental process adjustments as needed
  • Monitor and report quality of manufactured product
  • Learn and train on new jobs, lines, and departments
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
  • Perform all duties as designated by supervisor/manager
  • Support Sonoco's quality and safety policies
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
  • Proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Working knowledge of Sonoco products and quality requirements
  • Reliability, good initiative, commitment, and a focus on quality
  • Ability to effectively work with a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions
