Job Summary

We are seeking an Anesthesiologist to join our team at the New Mexico VA Health Care System in Albuquerque, NM. As a member of our collegial department, you will provide excellent, safe anesthetic care to our nation's veterans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide full range of perioperative care, including preoperative optimization, intraoperative clinical pathways, and postoperative management.
  • Perform anesthesia for cardiothoracic surgeries, including CABGs, aortic valve replacements, and lobectomies, with mentorship and guidance as needed.
  • Provide anesthesia for a variety of subspecialties, including cardiothoracic, vascular, urology, gynecology, ENT, ophthalmology, general surgery, colorectal surgery, orthopedics, podiatry, behavioral health, gastroenterology, cardiology, pain, interventional radiology, pulmonary, and more.
  • Supervise CRNAs and residents, with opportunities for personal case performance.
