Job Summary

Vita Inclinata Technologies is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician I to join our production team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical and electrical hardware systems and subsystems, surface prep and structurally bond composites, and ensure watertight enclosures through dunk testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and understand assembly work instructions, documentation, quality standards, tool use and calibration procedures
  • Assist with assembly of mechanical, electrical hardware and composite systems and subsystems
  • Coordinate inspection equipment including multimeters, calipers, and other measuring devices to ensure hardware conforms to the design spec
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve kitting, parts and/or assembly issues to satisfy customers
  • Organize shipping and receiving areas
  • Assist with inventory management as directed
Requirements
  • Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 1 to 3 years' related experience and/or training
  • Ability to read engineering specifications and drawings preferred
  • Familiar with electrical, pneumatic, electromechanical, and mechanical components
  • Experience using measuring tools and ability to learn/perform multiple manufacturing tasks
