Position Overview

Your Responsibilities:

As a key player in our organization, you will enhance the quality and effectiveness of healthcare education. Your exceptional interpersonal skills and passion for relationship-building will be instrumental in supporting clinical education initiatives within the Nurse Practitioner (NP) programs.

Location: Onsite in Provo, UT, with a flexible schedule of 3-5 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site and national travel to recruit new clinical preceptors.
  • Establish and maintain communication with potential and existing clinical sites through various channels.
  • Perform site visits and assist in the evaluation of new clinical locations.
  • Manage a database of preceptor credentials and necessary documentation.
  • Build and sustain relationships with healthcare providers, medical groups, and administrative personnel.
  • Collaborate with RMU NP alumni to identify potential new preceptors.
  • Coordinate clinical rotations for NP students and assist with clinical documentation.
  • Engage in clinical team projects as directed by the Director of Clinical Education.
  • Deliver presentations to students as needed.
  • Respond promptly to student inquiries.
  • Participate in relevant professional development opportunities.
  • Assist with marketing and public relations efforts as directed.
  • Engage in activities aimed at preceptor retention, including appreciation events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience in nursing, sales/marketing, or recruitment is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel regularly; valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Enthusiasm for contributing to an innovative and patient-centered educational environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students, staff, preceptors, and administrators.
  • Proficient in computer use for organization, documentation, and communication.
  • Service-oriented mindset with excellent organizational abilities.
  • Professional demeanor and attitude reflective of a graduate program.
  • Growth-oriented mindset with a desire to develop new skills.
