Imaging Technologist

Job Summary:
Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT examinations of patients, ensuring accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform computerized tomography (CT) examinations of patients as requested by referring physicians.
- Review patients' medical history prior to performing CT procedures and confirm that patients have signed a contrast media consent form.
- Introduce intravenous contrast material as directed by radiologists.
- Control and adjust CT equipment to ensure that images meet requirements.
- Maintain equipment and examination rooms, store film, and keep inventory of related supplies.
Requirements:
- Minimum one (1) year of experience, including on-the-job training and internships as a CT Technologist or registry-eligible ARRT advanced certification in CT required.
- Graduate of a certified/accredited ARRT program required.
- Specialized training in computerized tomography required.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certificate - Computed Tomography within 12 months of hire.
- Proficiency in the use of applicable computer software.
