As a Physician Assistant in our Coalition Health Clinic, you will provide primary care medical services to assigned patients, including preventive physical examinations, evaluation and treatment of injuries and illnesses, and referrals to appropriate specialties or facilities.

You will also order, perform, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests as appropriate, prescribe medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care as needed, and perform appropriate medical procedures within your scope of practice.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing primary care medical services to assigned patients
  • Ordering, performing, interpreting, and analyzing diagnostic tests
  • Prescribing medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care
  • Performing appropriate medical procedures within your scope of practice
  • Communicating effectively with patients and family members
  • Documenting patient care in the electronic medical record system
