The Concierge Ambassador is a key member of our team at The Little Nell, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and providing unparalleled service to our discerning clientele.
Key Responsibilities- Act as an ambassador for the hotel and the town of Aspen, providing expert-level knowledge of our property and its amenities and offerings.
- Curate personalized itineraries and experiences for guests, exceeding their expectations and ensuring a memorable stay.
- Listen attentively to guest requests and fulfill them with a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
- Stay up-to-date with local activities, events, dining, and entertainment options, making recommendations to guests and booking reservations as needed.
- Manage guest bookings and create itineraries using our proprietary system, Alice.
- Communicate with vendors to secure bookings and confirm details with guests.
- Follow up with guests before and during their stay to ensure their needs are met and exceed their expectations.
- Be aware of all in-house hotel functions and keep literature on hand for local recreational areas.
- Other activities may include hiking, biking, jeep tours, fly-fishing, hot air ballooning, ski tickets/rentals, snowshoe and snowmobile tours, movies, theater, shows, concerts, art exhibitions, and golf.
- Receive and print emails and faxes for guests, as well as mail and shipping requests.
- Amenity requests, such as flowers, food and beverage amenities, and gift baskets, will be ensured to be ordered and delivered as needed.
- Dining reservations, airline items, spa and beauty bookings, and transportation will be handled with expertise and attention to detail.
- Work with local outlets, offices, and vendors to develop a good working relationship, enabling smooth, efficient, and accurate bookings for guests.
- Assist with ordering and maintaining supplies, as well as attending to the orderliness and neatness at the desk and bell closet.
- Become a Colorado Notary and maintain a license (US citizenship).
- Become a Les Clef d'Or member when possible to apply.
- Communicate with various departments using Alice, MS Teams, MS by radio, telephone, email, or in-person as required.
- Concierge experience preferred.
- Experience in hospitality and/or customer service; interest in Les Clefs d'Or membership.
- Excellent spoken English, bi-lingual helpful.
- Ability to stand, walk, or be on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Kneeling and bending may be required.
- Regularly work indoors with no adverse conditions.
- Some positions require exposure to outdoor elements or a combination of both indoors and outdoors and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces.
- Must be able to occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance.
