About the Role

As an Academic Program Development Manager at the Council on Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Education, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the organization's headquarters organizational culture. Your key responsibilities will include contributing to strategic plans, implementing approved production, quality, and customer-service standards in the office, and supporting members and volunteer boards.

The position requires you to support the ICHRIE Honor Society, Eta Sigma Delta, assist the ESD Faculty Advisors and ESD Students with membership, programs, and development. Additionally, you will help support financial duties, including accounts payables and accounts receivables in conjunction with a partnering CPA firm and new Quickbooks Online software.

We provide programs and services to improve the quality of global education, research, service, and business operations in the hospitality and tourism industry. We are looking for a highly skilled individual to join our team as an Academic Program Development Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing academic programs that align with the council's mission and goals. This includes developing and implementing strategies to enhance the quality of education, research, and service in the hospitality and tourism industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to strategic planning and implementation
  • Develop and implement academic programs that align with the council's mission and goals
  • Support the ICHRIE Honor Society, Eta Sigma Delta, and other related initiatives
  • Assist with financial duties, including accounts payables and accounts receivables
  • Collaborate with a partnering CPA firm and new Quickbooks Online software

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in academic program management or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
