Job Title:

BS/MS - Geotechnical Engineering Intern (Summer 2025)

Job Description:

CDM Smith is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Geotechnical Engineering Intern or Co-Op to join our team. As a member of our Geotechnical staff, you will assist with subsurface investigations and oversight during construction of subsurface work. You will also assist senior engineers in performing calculations, performing analyses, preparing reports, preparing plans and specifications, and assisting with office needs on a variety of Geotechnical projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with subsurface investigations and oversight during construction of subsurface work
  • Perform calculations and analyses to support Geotechnical projects
  • Prepare reports and plans and specifications for Geotechnical projects
  • Assist senior engineers with office needs and administrative tasks
Requirements:

Currently enrolled and taking courses toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering is required. CDM Smith is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
