Job Overview

As an Assistant General Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Restaurant Manager in all aspects of restaurant operations. You will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the restaurant's high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure seamless execution and exceptional customer experience.
  • Staff Management: Supervise, train, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service and uphold the restaurant's standards, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints with professionalism and efficiency, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies, to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Financial Management: Support financial management, including cash handling, budgeting, and forecasting, to ensure accurate financial reporting and informed decision-making.
  • Marketing and Events: Contribute to the development and implementation of promotional activities and special events, enhancing the restaurant's reputation and attracting new customers.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within an upscale or fine dining restaurant.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of exceptional customer service and leadership, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire staff.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including service standards and industry trends, with a passion for fine dining and exceptional customer experience.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Education: A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred but not required.
