Position Overview:

The AGM will play a vital role in assisting the General Manager with the daily operations of our restaurant. The AGM will ensure top-notch service quality, improve guest experiences, and uphold the high standards of our venue. Since we operate solely for dinner service, the AGM will concentrate on optimizing evening operations, managing staff, and enhancing guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management:

Assist in overseeing all facets of restaurant operations during dinner service, including opening and closing tasks.

Manage daily front-of-house functions, ensuring a smooth and efficient service flow.

Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless coordination between front and back of house.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment, complying with health and safety regulations.

2. Guest Experience:

Enhance our restaurant's reputation for exceptional service and guest satisfaction.

Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback professionally and promptly.

Create a welcoming and positive atmosphere for guests, ensuring personalized service and memorable dining experiences.

3. Staff Management:

Assist in recruiting, training, and developing front-of-house staff to deliver high-quality service.

Lead by example, setting the standard for professionalism, teamwork, and a guest-centric approach.

Schedule and manage staff shifts, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient operation.

4. Financial Performance:

Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), such as sales, labor costs, and guest satisfaction scores.

Collaborate with the General Manager to develop and implement strategies for increasing revenue and controlling costs.

Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.

5. Marketing and Community Engagement:

Support marketing initiatives, including events, promotions, and social media engagement, to attract and retain guests.

Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, influencers, and community organizations.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality sector, preferably in an upscale or fine dining restaurant.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team.

Exceptional customer service skills, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
