Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Field Engineer to join our team in the Bridge & Marine District. As a Field Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our construction projects. Your responsibilities will include interpreting drawings and specifications, preparing work plans and packages, ordering material deliveries, and supervising field operations. In addition, you will participate in jobsite safety reviews, assist in tasks such as field surveying and labor timesheets, and perform basic engineering calculations and technical drafting.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, with a minimum GPA of 3.0. You will also require significant experience in infrastructure/heavy civil project management, preferably with a focus on bridge and marine construction. Additionally, you must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong time management and attention to detail are essential, along with a passion for safety and a commitment to ethics and integrity.
