The facility also offers the region's only multi-person hyperbaric chamber, allowing up to nine patients to dive together at one time. About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Level 3- CT scan specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the delivery of radiological services, recommending changes and improvements, and participating in the development of training programs for radiographic personnel. The ideal candidate will have a valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH, and two years of Radiologic Technologist experience performing duties consistent with Assignment Levels I and II, one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the delivery of radiological services, in accordance with established standards and procedures, for the service area or unit.
  • Recommend changes and improvements relating to the delivery of radiological services.
  • Participate in the development of training programs for radiographic personnel, ancillary personnel, and allied health care professionals.
  • May perform radiologic procedures, as required.
  • Perform special procedures including diagnostic and interventional radiography (e.g., C.T., M.R.I., and Mammography).
  • Represent the department in interdepartmental operations and meetings.
  • Participate in quality assurance activities, including coordination, control, and maintenance of technical equipment.
  • Participate in and coordinate procurement and storage of supplies and make recommendations regarding supply and equipment needs.
  • Perform research and participate in special projects involving evaluation of equipment and delivery of service.

Requirements

  • Valid license and current registration to practice Diagnostic Radiography as a Radiologic Technologist issued by the NYSDOH.
  • Two years of Radiologic Technologist experience performing duties consistent with Assignment Levels I and II, one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity.
  • Certified in CT by ARRT.
  • Certified Injection Contrast Media by DOH.
