Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the CT Scan Department at NYU Langone Health. As a key member of our imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT scans and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scans on patients, ensuring accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
  • Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment, maintaining a high level of technical proficiency.
  • Position patients and adjust equipment settings to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Administer contrast media and other medications as required, following established protocols.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to HIPAA guidelines and departmental policies.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in imaging technology and techniques.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
  • New York State license as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and IV Contrast Certification within 3 months of employment.
  • Advance Certification in Computerized Tomography (CT) preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in CT scanning; qualified candidates with less experience may be considered.
