Position Summary:

The selected candidate will be responsible for executing preventative and predictive maintenance, conducting repairs, and implementing enhancements on industrial machinery within a highly automated food processing environment. A strong emphasis will be placed on maintaining employee safety, ensuring food quality, and optimizing machine performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including LOTO, fall protection, and hot work standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections, lubrication, and preventative maintenance to maximize equipment uptime.
  • Employ predictive maintenance technologies such as thermal imaging, vibration analysis, and ultrasonics to assess machine conditions and longevity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Identify and implement improvements in equipment, documentation, workflows, and processes.
  • Engage with personnel across various departments through effective communication methods.
  • Provide training and mentorship to operators and fellow maintenance staff.
  • Research specifications for systems and components using manuals, schematics, and vendor resources.
  • Dismantle and reassemble complex machinery with precision and reliability.
  • Operate cutting, welding, and fabrication equipment as necessary.
  • Manage work orders in the Computerized Maintenance Management System, documenting all maintenance activities.
  • Submit requests for parts and escalate technical issues to supervisors as needed.
  • Uphold moral integrity in all work-related activities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • A technical degree with three or more years of relevant experience in a production or manufacturing setting is preferred.
  • Strong English communication skills are essential; bilingual candidates are preferred.
  • Ability to interpret and present business-related information effectively.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Capability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios in practical scenarios.
  • Ability to follow various forms of instructions, whether written, oral, or diagrammatic.
  • Physical ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Occasional lifting or pushing of items weighing up to 75 pounds may be required.

Compensation: Pay range is $28.08-$33.60, based on skills and experience.
