Payroll Specialist

Job SummaryActOne Group is seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of payroll, including record keeping and reporting. Key responsibilities include managing time and attendance workflows, following up with supervisors and managers on missing or incomplete documentation, and ensuring final records are archived per standard operating procedures. Ideal candidates will have 1-2 years of experience processing Ag/FLC payroll, preferably in the Agriculture industry, and a strong knowledge of federal and state regulations. Key Responsibilities Manage time and attendance workflows to ensure all time sheets, time off requests, and other payroll documents are received timely and are accurate, complete, and in compliance with state and federal payroll standards. Follow up with supervisors and managers on any missing or incomplete documentation. Ensure final records are archived per standard operating procedures. Respond to all Federal, State, and other agency requests for compliance documentation (wage orders, garnishments, tax levies, etc.). Requirements 1-2 years of experience processing Ag/FLC payroll, preferably in the Agriculture industry. Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations. Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material.
