Responsibilities include supporting the monthly execution of controls within a Line of Business (LOB) and directly aiding in the management of the ILQA Program through various initiatives aimed at enhancing process improvements and ensuring the sustainability of control performance.

This role necessitates a robust background in operational risk and compliance, knowledge of Risk Framework (QA Standard), and an understanding of AML requirements and testing across diverse jurisdictions. The candidate will serve as a champion of the risk culture and will

assist in testing inspections, control oversight, and execution. This position focuses on Quality Control with an emphasis on KYC Refresh (Remediation) Cases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct or coordinate quality inspection reviews to ensure effective associate performance and control efficiency.
  • Execute Quality Assurance tasks including control execution, case assignment, and timely results reporting.
  • Support initiatives aimed at enhancing the success of the Quality Assurance program.
  • Provide assistance during Regulatory Exams, Internal Audits, and other Monitoring & Inspection reviews.
  • Collect data and information pertinent to inspection metrics to support governance activities for dashboard reporting.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in areas such as Quality Control/Assurance Testing, Process Risk Control (PRC), Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Internal Audit, Risk Management, Process Improvement, Compliance, or similar business control roles.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, particularly when addressing escalations.
  • Excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong research and analytical capabilities – Ability to prioritize effectively, self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in computer/software applications – Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ACAMS Certification.
  • Knowledge or experience in KYC/CIP/CDD.
  • Familiarity with Risk, Quality Control/Assurance Framework.
  • Understanding of Anti-Money Laundering concepts and regulations.
  • Previous experience in risk, compliance, audit, operations, and/or controls.
  • Foundational knowledge of general banking policies, particularly regarding data and privacy.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
