Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

At MindSource, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to support our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) Modernization project within the Data Exchange Program.

This project will replace the existing data warehouse with a new cloud architecture, integrate with a variety of source systems, and implement a Master Person Identifier (MPI) to link individuals across data sources.

The successful candidate will coordinate extensively with internal and external stakeholders to gather and document requirements, analyze business needs, and collect, analyze and document the data to be ingested into the EDW.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Creating data dictionaries with input from data stewards
  • Meeting with stakeholders to document report requirements
  • Working with the business and IT to understand and document current business processes and identifying opportunities to streamline processes and reporting
  • Overseeing quality assurance processes to ensure that the delivered solutions meet business requirements and adhere to data governance and security standards

This role requires an experienced analyst who is skilled in listening, understanding, and communicating with business and technical stakeholders. Intermediate to advanced SQL querying skills and experience with data analysis, reporting and business intelligence is required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to take initiative and ownership over their work is a must.

Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Business acumen, with the ability to understand business processes and objectives
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Adaptability and continuous learning, with the ability to adapt to changes in the project and take the initiative to learn the business and technical environment and tools
  • Customer service orientation, with the ability to focus on delivering value to stakeholders and end users
