About the Role:

CMC Design Build is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our Construction Management team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction activities and ensuring project management at one or more job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Design/Build process for food distribution and food processing facilities
  • Prepare subcontractor RFP/scope of work
  • Secure, vet and level subcontractor pricing
  • Negotiate subcontracts
  • Secure governmental approvals for the projects
  • Finalize design details with clients, design team and outside consultants
  • Establish and manage the project schedule
  • Manage CMC field staff
  • Manage project cost
  • Train and develop field personnel and assistant project managers

Requirements:

  • Construction Management Degree preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar Construction Project Manager role
  • Proficiency required in appropriate systems, including but not limited to Procore, AutoCAD, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Must be dependable, organized, detail-oriented, possess comfort while multi-tasking, and show strong follow-up skills
  • Ability to interact and work closely with team members in a busy environment under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interrelationship skills
