Job Summary

SSM Health is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Sonographer to join our team in Cardiology. As a Diagnostic Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance with accepted protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Perform appropriate diagnostic procedures, record patient test results, and report results.
  • Monitor patient comfort and safety during tests, alerting physicians to abnormalities or changes in patient responses.
  • Maintain adequate supplies and verify all equipment is in proper working condition; report deficiencies and failures.
  • Position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
  • Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area, and other areas in the department.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an Echo Sonography academic program.
  • No experience required.
