LPI, Inc., a prominent producer of industrial personnel lift systems and elevated work platforms, is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician to become a vital member of our dedicated first shift assembly team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and execute basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and other written instructions while adhering to established procedures for precise product assembly.
- Engage in mechanical assembly utilizing both hand tools and power tools.
- Demonstrate proficiency with measuring and testing instruments, as well as assembly hardware.
- Handle a variety of materials, ranging from heavy components to small, intricate parts.
- Conduct quality inspections to verify that products meet specified standards and quality benchmarks.
- Identify and report product defects to the appropriate personnel.
- Rework and/or repair assembled products in accordance with engineering specification modifications.
- Perform additional related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- An Associate Degree in Maintenance or Electromechanical Technology is advantageous.
- A combination of education and experience will be taken into account, ideally with a minimum of 2 years of prior experience in the repair and troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
