About the Job

We are seeking a highly experienced diesel mechanic to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles. As a Diesel Mechanic/Technician I, you will be responsible for ensuring our vehicles are safe and reliable for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
  • Use advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and repair problems
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements
  • 6 years of experience in diesel mechanics and repair
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
  • Specialized training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials)
  • Valid driver's license required, CDL preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills and communication skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
