Description:

At KPMG, we are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Business Tax Services practice. As a key member of our team, you will provide tax compliance and advisory services to corporations and partnerships, working with a variety of clients from Fortune 100 to emerging businesses.

You will participate in tax provision calculations, work with accounting for income taxes (ASC 740), and contribute to market and business activities external to the firm. Your responsibilities will include managing teams of tax professionals and assistants, advising clients, and delivering high-quality tax service and advice.

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of two years of recent corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm. You will also require a Bachelor's degree, J.D., LL.M. in taxation, and/or Master's in taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university.

Our ideal candidate will have experience with corporate taxation, consolidations, partnerships, and a solid knowledge of ASC 740. You will also possess excellent advisory and compliance skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide tax compliance and advisory services to corporations and partnerships
  • Participate in tax provision calculations
  • Work with accounting for income taxes (ASC 740)
  • Contribute to market and business activities external to the firm
  • Manage teams of tax professionals and assistants
  • Advise clients and deliver high-quality tax service and advice
Qualifications:
