Plasma Center Medical Support Specialist

As a Medical Support Specialist at BioLife Plasma Services, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors. Your primary responsibility will be to determine donor eligibility to donate plasma, manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable test results.
You will work under the guidance of the Center Manager and the Center Physician to ensure that all medical procedures are followed and that donors receive the highest level of care. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in this role.
In addition to your medical responsibilities, you will also be responsible for supporting the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees, managing employee incidents, and referring to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs when necessary.

What You Will Bring- Current licensure as an LPN or LVN in the state where responsibilities will be assigned
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
- Fulfillment of state requirements for basic IV therapy
- Satisfactory completion of the FDA-approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
- Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting
