Order Entry Specialist

Job Summary

The Order Entry Specialist is responsible for processing customer orders in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that all orders meet the company's policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enter and process customer orders
  • Work with the Accounting department to establish or revise terms per customer requests
  • Ensure orders on credit hold are reviewed and released in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with the Shipping department to ensure orders are processed efficiently
  • Verify each order contains correct promotions and rebate codes
  • Review backlog regularly to ensure all orders are fulfilled in a timely manner
  • Open service orders for new/used/rental units prior to shipping
  • Perform warehouse transfers

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Associates/ Bachelor's degree in related field preferred, but not required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • 3-5 years of experience in customer service or purchasing/order processing
  • Knowledge of export control and law preferred
  • Strong problem-solving and research skills, ability to multi-task
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, team environment, and positive attitude
