Key Responsibilities
  • Develop goals-based strategies for clients with complex needs using a team approach, requiring specific technical knowledge in a particular subject matter area.
  • Communicate with financial advisors and clients to gain understanding of client needs, aid in documenting client goals, articulate investment and financial planning strategies and recommendations, identify expertise needed to help the client achieve their goals, and help build relationships with clients and financial advisors.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for a specific topic that supports the creation of goals-based and financial planning recommendations for clients with complex needs.
  • Lead firm goals, projects, and initiatives to better serve branch teams and clients.
  • Drive department/team-wide goals, projects, and initiatives to better serve branch teams and clients.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for complex cases requiring deep technical knowledge and financial planning experience and have a strong understanding of upcoming rules/regulations and impacts to their area of expertise and financial planning concepts.
  • Stay abreast of financial planning concepts, market trends, investment opportunities, changes in financial regulations, etc. and share subject matter expertise with team, Financial Advisors, and clients.
Requirements
  • 9+ years' experience in the Financial Services Industry.
  • Series 7 and 66 required within 6 months of hire.
  • Insurance license required within 6 months of hire.
  • CFP designation highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or Law required.
  • Broad knowledge of branch teams and branch structure.
