Key Responsibilities- Departmental Oversight: Coordinate and direct the activities of the housekeeping team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that housekeeping duties are being performed to the highest standards, and identify areas for improvement.
- Employee Development: Evaluate the productivity and quality of work of each employee, and provide training and support to enhance their skills and performance.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all housekeeping staff are wearing personal protective equipment and following safety protocols, and report any incidents or accidents to management.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of housekeeping supplies and equipment, and ensure that stock levels are adequate to meet the needs of the department.
- Budgeting and Planning: Participate in the development of the departmental budget, and ensure that all expenses are managed effectively.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to housekeeping staff, and foster a positive and productive team environment.
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent, preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of two years' experience in a supervisory capacity in a healthcare facility, preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in environmental control practices.
