Job Summary

PruittHealth is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Departmental Oversight: Coordinate and direct the activities of the housekeeping team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that housekeeping duties are being performed to the highest standards, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Employee Development: Evaluate the productivity and quality of work of each employee, and provide training and support to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all housekeeping staff are wearing personal protective equipment and following safety protocols, and report any incidents or accidents to management.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of housekeeping supplies and equipment, and ensure that stock levels are adequate to meet the needs of the department.
  • Budgeting and Planning: Participate in the development of the departmental budget, and ensure that all expenses are managed effectively.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to housekeeping staff, and foster a positive and productive team environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent, preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of two years' experience in a supervisory capacity in a healthcare facility, preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and proficiency in environmental control practices.
