Our commitment at Monroeville Rehabilitation and Wellness Center is to deliver exceptional care to our residents, ensuring a nurturing and compassionate atmosphere that addresses their physical, spiritual, and emotional well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain resident living spaces by performing thorough cleaning of restrooms, walls, baseboards, doors, ceilings, and mirrors, as well as dusting and window washing.
- Rearrange furniture to facilitate effective floor cleaning, utilizing wet floor signage for safety.
- Dust and sanitize all furniture and fixtures in various areas, including resident rooms, nursing stations, and communal spaces, using appropriate cleaning agents.
- Conduct terminal cleaning of resident rooms upon transfer, discharge, or death.
- Ensure cleanliness of both clean and soiled utility areas.
- Regularly polish chrome fixtures and door handles.
- Complete maintenance request forms and submit them to the supervisor.
- Uphold the facility's appearance by cleaning common areas, including lobbies, staff lounges, and public restrooms.
- Respond to emergency cleaning needs as they arise.
- Organize and replenish supplies in the housekeeping stockroom and on cleaning carts.
- Handle soiled linens, including washing, drying, folding, and delivering them.
- Maintain a tidy and organized work environment.
- Availability to work every other weekend is required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Experience in long-term care settings is advantageous.
