Civil and Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Geotechnical Engineering Intern to join our team in Monroeville, PA.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will assist project teams in creating geotechnical reports, plans, specifications, and calculation briefs for various projects and clients. This role will provide opportunities to work in the field on site testing and construction projects, as well as collaborate with other disciplines including Civil/Site, Environmental, and Surveying.

Responsibilities
  • Support project teams in creating geotechnical reports, plans, specifications, and calculation briefs
  • Assist in site testing and construction projects
  • Collaborate with other disciplines including Civil/Site, Environmental, and Surveying
  • Develop practical experience applying knowledge from college courses
  • Learn from industry experts and collaborate with teams across functional groups and locations
Qualifications
  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate Civil or Environmental Engineering program
  • Geotechnical focus preferred
  • AutoCAD or GIS experience
  • Prior internship and/or related engineering experience preferred
  • Local candidates preferred
