Civil Engineering Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our team at Civil and Environmental Consultants. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet deadlines
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and construction professionals
  • Conduct site visits, monitor progress, and identify potential issues
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
  • Develop and implement project management plans, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of relevant design and permitting experience, including earth disturbance and stormwater permits
  • B.S./M.S. in engineering (civil or environmental) or related degree
  • P.E. preferred
  • Proven ability to develop business opportunities and contribute to new opportunities
  • Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multi-discipline projects
