Key Responsibilities- Inspect and Maintain HVAC/Refrigeration Systems: Conduct thorough inspections of HVAC/Refrigeration systems to identify malfunctions and recommend repairs.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance: Carry out daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance tasks on HVAC/Refrigeration assets as directed by maintenance management.
- Electrical and Plumbing Maintenance: Perform minor electrical maintenance, including replacement or repair of fixtures, and minor plumbing maintenance, such as unclogging drains and replacing drain hoses.
- General Building Maintenance: Assist with minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work, including preparing surfaces and applying paints, stains, and varnishes.
- Office Reconfiguration and Installation: Reconfigure, install, position, and remount modular offices and space to accommodate user needs and maximize office space.
- Cleaning and Organization: Clean work areas and maintain a safe and comfortable working environment.
- Inventory Management: Order parts and maintain required documents and inventory.
- Education and Experience: High school education or equivalent preferred; two years of working experience in facility maintenance; basic understanding of plumbing and carpentry a plus.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently; strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer service orientation; ability to complete work orders and reports using electronic systems.
- Physical Demands: Ability to push minimum 100 pounds; ability to lift minimum 50 pounds; ability to climb ladder and step ladder; bending, sitting, kneeling, laying horizontally, climbing, walking, etc., as job may require.
