The Role

We're seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our TV Release Quality team. As a key member of this team, you'll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our test automation framework, as well as collaborating with stakeholders and partners across Netflix to improve and innovate in the spaces of metrics, observability, and alerting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop innovative solutions to improve our understanding of the quality of the TV streaming application
  • Tell the quality story of our product through improved observability, alerting, dashboarding, and tools
  • Strengthen our test automation foundations and signals
  • Collaborate with engineers and leaders across multiple teams to drive quality and innovation
Requirements
  • Deep expertise in troubleshooting highly complex web automated testing failures
  • Experience developing internal tools to improve developer experience and productivity
  • Proficiency in TypeScript/Javascript and experience working with large data sets
  • Strong bias to action and ability to run with ambiguous requirements
