Software Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join our team at Medtronic. As a Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our medical devices.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, schedule, conduct, and monitor testing activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Develop and review verification strategies, test designs, test cases, test tools, and planned execution to ensure completeness of documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, and develop test concepts and methods to define and analyze use cases and use conditions.
- Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build new tools for performing verification.
- Document, track, and escalate issues as appropriate.
To be considered for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a scientific discipline and 2+ years of experience in technical testing or engineering. Alternatively, you may have an Advanced Degree in engineering or a scientific discipline and 0+ years of experience in technical testing or engineering.
Preferred Qualifications- Demonstrated experience generating technical documentation such as engineering reports, test plans, and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in product development, particularly in a regulated industry such as medical device, defense, or automotive.
- Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
