Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinics and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all necessary information and materials are present for clinicians prior to patient visits.
  • Escort patients to the appropriate room, accurately obtain and record history and chief complaint to practice standards.
  • Prepare patients for appointments based on diagnosis, procedure, and practice protocols, including proper dress and setup for procedures.
  • Responsible for scribing/documenting office visits on computer for clinicians.
  • Assist clinicians with preparation of cosmetic procedures.
  • Instruct and teach patients aftercare for surgical and cosmetic procedures, ensuring patients demonstrate understanding.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Possesses and displays knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Excellent computer skills.
