Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabrication and Installation Specialist to join our team at Workbox Staffing.

Compensation

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $18-$25 per hour, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities

As a Fabrication and Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for operating metal working machines such as shears, brakes, punches, and drill presses, including computer numerical control (CNC) equipment to cut, bend, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal.

You will also be required to fit and join sheet metal parts using riveting, welding, soldering and similar equipment to fabricate products such as ventilation shafts, exhaust hoods, partition frames, dust collection piping, material handling systems, roof decking and sheet metal buildings.

Additionally, you will install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes.

Requirements
  • Must have weld fabricating experience with sheet metal.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Able to read and comprehend engineering drawings, sketches, and work specifications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Willingness and desire to learn and grow within the company.
  • Able to travel for 50-75% of the job.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Good driving history.
