About the Job

We're seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team at Houston Methodist. As a Registered Nurse II, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to a culture of excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential complications, and take prompt action to prevent or mitigate them.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or higher from an accredited institution.
  • At least 12 months of experience as a Registered Nurse in a healthcare environment.
  • Texas RN license or temporary TX RN license, with permanent licensure obtained within 90 days.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Other credentials and certifications as defined by the unit/service line.
