Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cath EP Lab team at HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care and related assistance to patients undergoing imaging procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
  • Develop and implement nursing care plans with realistic goals
  • Obtain and document accurate and concise nursing assessments
  • Identify patient problems, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
  • Utilize clinical experience and knowledge to anticipate potential patient care problems and make provisions to meet them
  • Interpret diagnostic data and incorporate it into patient care plans
  • Plan, implement, and prioritize direct patient care or delegate responsibility to other healthcare team members
  • Make nursing revisions in patient care plans based on observation, changing patient needs, and available data
  • Work with patients, significant others, and healthcare team members to plan for discharge
  • Perform procedures basic to patient well-being
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and patients
Requirements
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Nurse licensure
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing with completion of Bachelor's Degree within 30 days of employment start date
  • 12 months of acute inpatient experience
