The Advanced Practice Provider position at Houston Methodist Primary Care Group offers a unique opportunity to grow professionally and make a meaningful impact on patient care. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will be responsible for maintaining and promoting the health of patients requiring primary care, providing diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative care, and working independently or as part of a treatment team in an outpatient primary care setting. You will also identify staff development opportunities for professional growth of colleagues, provide coaching to meet identified goals, and act as a role model for effective verbal, non-verbal, and written communication.
To qualify for this position, candidates must have a minimum of two years of advanced practice clinical experience in primary care, family medicine, or outpatient internal medicine, along with a Bachelor of Physician Assistant Studies or a Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited program. APRN licensure and prescriptive authority are required, along with Magnet recognition and ANCC certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
