Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. The successful candidate will provide nursing care and health oversight for residents living in a state-funded group home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial and ongoing health assessments, including monitoring vital signs, physical health, and any chronic conditions or co-occurring health issues.
- Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans for each resident.
- Oversee medication administration processes, including review of medication orders, preparation of medications, and monitoring for adverse effects or medication errors.
- Provide nursing interventions as needed, including wound care, catheter care, G-tube feedings, and other treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Regularly assess the health status of residents, identifying and addressing changes in condition, and coordinating medical care as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A current, active RN license in the state of Maryland.
- Experience working in a group home, long-term care, or IDD setting.
- Proficiency in managing and administering medications.
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
