Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Financial Management: Accurately enter, reconcile, and uphold financial records for multiple clients, ensuring adherence to accounting principles.
  • Financial Documentation: Generate financial statements, payroll tax documentation, and budgets. Assist in the preparation of work papers and journal entries.
  • QuickBooks Expertise: Offer expert support for QuickBooks (both desktop and online), including setup, consulting, and client interaction.
  • Quality Assurance: Review the work produced by team members, ensuring precision and quality in financial reporting and bookkeeping tasks.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts, manage liabilities, and create comprehensive financial reports. Aid in updating asset and depreciation schedules.
  • Client Engagement: Communicate effectively with clients regarding QuickBooks and payroll inquiries, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate closely with colleagues to identify and resolve issues, maintaining a professional demeanor in all client and team interactions.
  • Process Enhancement: Leverage technology in a paperless office environment and demonstrate a solid understanding of business operations and accounting systems.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of bookkeeping experience, including managing financial records for multiple clients. Review experience is advantageous.
  • Technical Proficiency: Required proficiency in QuickBooks (both desktop and online); QuickBooks Pro Advisor certification is a plus.
  • Accounting Acumen: Comprehensive understanding of accounting standards, payroll tax documentation, and tax principles. Familiarity with Lacerte tax software is beneficial.
  • Technology Skills: Strong abilities in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Professional Conduct: Capability to work independently within a team environment, manage multiple responsibilities, and uphold professionalism in all client and team interactions.
  • Time Management: Proven ability to meet deadlines, with the capacity to work overtime during peak periods.
