Job Title: Lead Site Reliability Engineer

Join Mastercard's Enterprise Data Accessibility team as a Lead Site Reliability Engineer and play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our cloud-based systems.

About the Role:
  • Lead the design, implementation, and operation of cloud-based systems, ensuring they meet the needs of our business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements, and develop solutions to meet those needs.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, system designs, and operational procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, and mentor them in their professional development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply that knowledge to improve our systems and processes.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud computing, with a focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based systems, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with containerization, orchestration, and service mesh technologies.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C++.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
