About the Role

We are seeking a Medical Support Specialist to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. As a key member of our operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth collection of plasma from donors.

Responsibilities
  • Determine donor eligibility by conducting thorough medical evaluations and reviewing laboratory test results.
  • Manage donor adverse events and provide necessary support during emergency situations.
  • Work closely with the Center Manager and Center Physician to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Current EMT-Paramedic license in the state where responsibilities will be assigned.
  • CPR and AED certification.
  • Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
  • Satisfactorily complete FDA-approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
  • Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated hourly wage range for this position is $26.15 - $35.96. U.S.-based employees may be eligible for short-term incentives and participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and company match. They are also eligible to receive up to 80 hours of sick time per calendar year and accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
