- Safety Management Systems: Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety management systems, including work processes, safety plans, and standards and procedures.
- Training and Development: Coach teams and individuals on safety-related tasks and activities, and participate in the creation and delivery of safety training programs.
- Emergency Response: Participate in the development and implementation of emergency response plans, and provide leadership in response to on-site emergencies.
- Incident Investigation: Participate in root cause investigations to identify and mitigate hazards, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Recordkeeping and Reporting: Assist in maintaining safety and security recordkeeping systems, including databases and reports.
- Industrial Hygiene: Assist in maintaining industrial hygiene programs, including monitoring and testing.
- Education and Certifications: OSHA Authorized General Industry Trainer preferred or completed OSHA 510/511, ASP/CSP preferred.
- Experience: Proven experience in safety and security management, including emergency response and incident investigation.
- Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Demands: Ability to walk long distances, stand and work for extended periods in challenging environmental conditions, and withstand heights of up to 500 feet.
- Travel: Ability to travel occasionally, including to remote sites.
