We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team at Pieper Veterinary. As a key member of our veterinary care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Assist veterinarians and other veterinary care team members in providing high-quality patient care, including restraint, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and anesthesia.
- Conduct phlebotomy and other laboratory procedures as needed.
- Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies, including sterilization and storage.
- Provide excellent client service, including answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- 3-5 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician.
- Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology or related field (CVT license a plus).
- Knowledge of anesthesia and monitoring, as well as phlebotomy procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Competitive hourly rate ($21.00 - $35.00).
