Job Summary

Accuity is seeking a highly skilled Help Desk Representative to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving computer software and hardware issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely resolutions to technical issues.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve computer software and hardware problems, documenting and tracking user inquiries or problems assigned to technical support or application development teams.
  • Technical Support: Provide one-on-one end-user assistance on various software applications and computer hardware.
  • Incident Management: Manage problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution, and follow-up.
  • Password Management: Set and reset user passwords to applicable systems.
  • Reporting: Prepare standard statistical reports, including Help Desk incident reports.
  • Analysis: Analyze incident reports, evaluating the number of Help Desk requests and making recommendations to improve efficiency.
  • Training: Develop or revise user training manuals and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma. Additional coursework in computer systems preferred.
  • Experience: Experience with general desktop computer hardware and software support, Help Desk or a related field preferred. Insurance knowledge desirable.
  • Skills: Ability to provide quality customer service, do in-depth research, and possess strong problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and cooperation required. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask essential. Strong technical skills, understanding of basic computer terminology, desktop and laptop computers, local and remote access methods, LAN & WAN, distributed and mainframe environments. Proficiency in using and supporting various computer software applications such as email, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation tools.
