Job Title: Procurement Manager

Tepper Sports & Entertainment is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing needs of various departments with a focus on the sports and entertainment industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage/support the strategic sourcing activity for TSE departments such as Technology, Engineering & Maintenance, Stadium Operations, and Capital Project Development.
  • Engage continuously with internal customers on their evolving business requirements and facilitate the direction of sourcing strategies in addressing both current and future needs.
  • Mitigate and manage risks associated with suppliers and contracts, including identifying potential risks, developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, and monitoring their effectiveness.
  • Accountable for research, preparation, issuance, and management of RFPs, including baseline spend analytics, associated negotiations, and evaluation of responses.
  • Integral in the drafting, negotiation, and execution of associated contractual agreements, in collaboration with TSE's legal department and applicable internal customers.
  • Establish and manage specific service level agreements within supplier contracts and track associated supplier KPIs/obligations.
  • Lead supplier relationship management review sessions seeking to enhance overall operational performance and outcomes.
  • Utilize and maintain proficiency in procurement software and technology platforms, including eProcurement systems (e.g., Coupa, SAP, Oracle), spend analytics tools, and supplier management systems.
Requirements:
  • Graduate or Postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Commerce or a related field.
  • Previous education/courses related to negotiations, procurement, or Capital Development is an asset.
  • At least 5 years of experience working in relevant areas of procurement to include technology, corporate services, negotiations, and/or sports/entertainment.
  • Experience in mitigating and managing procurement and contract risks.
  • Expert understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on Excel.
Preferred Skills:
  • Strong team orientation with the ability to collaborate with internal and external customers.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, while working under tight deadlines and/or handling multiple priorities.
  • Project management experience demonstrating this is an asset.
Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment (mostly office environment, outside in a stadium facility at times which may include inclement weather conditions).
