Role Overview
The Project Engineer II is responsible for supporting and executing routine construction and field responsibilities for various projects. This role will engage in essential construction processes and apply company best practices, standards, and resources.

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in all aspects of safety and quality initiatives, ensuring a commitment to an injury-free workplace.
- Assist in quality assurance and quality control planning for assigned tasks.
- Engage in estimating and change management processes, including quantity take-offs and subcontractor proposal reviews.
- Collaborate with the project team on-site to monitor crew size, self-perform hours, materials, and equipment usage.
- Take part in activities such as punch lists, inspections, safety reviews, and documentation preparation.
- Maintain updated drawings and specifications.
- Organize and contribute to various project meetings, preparing necessary documentation.
- Generate reports including daily logs, weekly progress updates, and equipment tracking to support project management.
- Conduct periodic job site observations alongside project leadership.
- Create procurement logs in alignment with project schedules and specifications.
- Provide updates to the project team to assist in scheduling processes.
- Support project closeout activities, including punch lists and as-built documentation.

Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of construction experience.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with construction technology.
- Understanding of Lean processes and construction management fundamentals.

Working Environment
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions.
- Willingness to travel and work non-traditional hours as required by project needs.
