Job Summary:

FlexStaff Careers is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex electronic systems, architectures, and processes for active optics products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop systems, architectures, processes, and procedures for active optics products
  • Provide technical leadership in the development of analogue, digital, optoelectronic, and power supply circuits
  • Perform circuit level and system level simulations and analysis to minimize design risk and prove theoretical system performance
  • Conduct board level and system level testing, debugging, and optimization
  • Document and conduct thorough peer reviews, block diagrams, specifications, and requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in electronics/electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Strong analog and digital design skills, including optoelectronics, thermal, EMC, and safety considerations
  • Knowledge of embedded C and ARM cortex, as well as FPGA/VHDL development
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience taking ownership of complex projects and producing successful outcomes
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills, with strong time management and organization skills
  • Naturally team-oriented and creative, with a mission-first attitude

Experience:

  • Electronics and systems design, schematic capture, PCB design: 10 years (Required)
  • Working in complex multi-disciplinary projects including optics, optoelectronics, and sensors: 10 years (Required)
  • Altium: 2 years (Required)

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $150,000-$180,000/year.
