Job Description

The Accounting Department's Financial Operations Manager will be the CFO's right-hand person in executing the company's growth vision by ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis. This individual will interact regularly with the IT, Human Resources, Operations Directors, and site General Managers to drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Maintain updated and reconciled balance sheets on a monthly basis.
  • Manage cash flow through timely receipt of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, ensuring optimal liquidity and minimizing financial risks.
  • Conduct periodic financial analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimize business performance.
  • Prepare monthly bank reporting packages for review with the CFO, providing insights into financial performance and trends.
  • Work with an outside CPA firm to ensure timely completion of annual reviews and tax returns, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Supervise daily operations of the Accounting Department, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Play a key role in developing the annual budget process, working closely with key department heads to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Analyze actual results versus budget and goals, providing early identification of problems and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure cross-functional collaboration with other departments to support business initiatives and drive growth.
  • Respond to internal and external client requests in a timely and professional manner, providing exceptional service and support.
