Key Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians during catheterization laboratory procedures, ensuring adherence to established protocols and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Conduct routine quality assurance and maintenance on cardiac catheterization equipment, following organizational policies.
- Monitor patients' electrocardiograms, promptly reporting any rhythm abnormalities to the physician, and accurately recording intracardiac and intravascular pressures.
- Utilize medical equipment and supplies in accordance with established guidelines to ensure optimal patient care.
- Promote a patient-centered care culture by maintaining a tranquil healing atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Electrophysiology, with familiarity in EP and Ablation devices.
- Licensure: RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification required.
- Training: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certifications.
- Skills: Proficient in identifying arrhythmias and understanding hemodynamic changes, with strong critical thinking abilities, excellent service orientation, and effective communication skills.
